Automatic daily backups for your website or application
Automatic nightly backups of your data, database, and uploads — securely stored and ready to restore. Because hope is not a backup strategy.
Hope is not a backup strategy. Every night we make automatic backups of your database, files, and uploads — stored in a separate location so a server issue never takes your data with it.
We regularly test restoration. If something goes wrong, we can restore to yesterday — not last month. That is the difference between a backup system and backup theater.
Hope is not a backup strategy
Data loss always happens to someone else — until it happens to you. A human error, a failed migration, a server crash. If you don’t have a recent backup, the damage is irreversible. If you do have a backup made yesterday, you’re back up within an hour.
We automatically make backups of everything every night: the database, application data, uploaded media, and server configuration. Stored off-site — so a server problem doesn’t affect the backup either. And we regularly test restoration to be sure the backup actually works when it’s needed.
What we back up daily
PostgreSQL database with all data. Docker volumes with application data and uploads. Hetzner Cloud server snapshots for complete environment recovery. Off-site storage outside the primary server. Retention period of at least 30 days — so you can also go back to a week ago if needed. And incident notifications with details on what was backed up and whether everything succeeded.
